Our Team

As part of our onboarding process, our team of photographers are trained in the Willow Wedding Co. photography style so you can trust that your wedding photos will be consistent with the other work in our portfolio. While our photographers come from diverse backgrounds, they are each carefully selected for their professionalism and experience to maintain our high service-oriented standards.

Our Wedding Photography Technique

Our wedding photographers have three priorities while photographing your big day:

1. Creating timeless portraits of you and your spouse
2. Capturing candids of your guests as they celebrate you
3. A storytelling approach to documenting the in-between moments of your wedding day. 

When photographing you, your friends, and family, we will give you direction in posing, but in a way that feels comfortable and natural. We’ll never force you to pose in a way that doesn’t feel natural to you, but we’ll also never leave you wondering “What do I do with my hands?!”

Organization and efficiency are keys to our workflow. We will help you create a flexible wedding timeline so we can stay on track throughout the day. We will also provide a questionnaire so you can give us your shot list and family photo list. Our team will use this to make sure you receive the traditional wedding day photos that are most important to you.

The Willow Wedding Co. Process

The first step to booking our team for your wedding photography is deciding how many hours of coverage you need and any a la carte photography services you want to add. Visit our pricing page for details to create your own custom wedding photography package. If you’re not sure how many hours of coverage you will need, include that in your booking request, and our wedding specialist will schedule a call to discuss options.

Next, visit our book now page to inquire and reserve your date. While we are able to offer affordable wedding photography for most dates, we offer a limited number of reservations for peak wedding dates depending on our team members’ availability. We’ll send you a proposal with all of your package options within 3 business days.

To complete your booking and lock in your date, we require your filled in proposal, as well as a 50% deposit and signed contract. The deposit can be paid via credit card, mail-in check, or online bank transfer. The contract can be completed online–no need to worry about printing anything!

After booking, we’ll send you a list of our favorite vendors in your city, resources to help you plan your day, and our Pre-Wedding Questionnaire where you can send us all of the details of your big day, including your venue(s) and getting ready locations, contact info, and shot list. There you can also select your preferred editing style from our portfolio page. Preset application, color correction, and light retouching are complimentary with all of our wedding and engagement session photography packages. Our editing team offers 3 preset styles for you to choose from. 

Two months before your wedding date, we’ll send you an introductory email with your assigned photographer! Your photographer(s) are assigned to you based on our team’s availability and the details you have shared with us about your wedding vision. Once you’ve been introduced, your photographer will get in touch to book your Pre-Wedding Consultation call to assist in planning and finalizing all of the photography details for your day.

Your wedding day is here! Your assigned photographers will photograph your wedding day, then submit the image files to our editing team to be retouched in your preferred editing style. We will deliver your edited wedding photographs in an online gallery in 4-6 weeks. You are welcome to save, share, and print these images however you like! Your gallery also comes equipped with access to our fine-art print shop if you would like to order prints, canvases, and albums directly from us.
